Welcome Sunny to The Heart of Hospice!

We’ve added a new member to The Heart of Hospice team. Meet Sunny, a 9-week old Goldendoodle puppy! Sunny came to live with my family and me this weekend.
Sunny was chosen for his special role by Amanda Davis, the owner of Golden Rule Retrievers in Buffalo, Texas. Golden Rule Retrievers provides dogs who work in classrooms, healthcare environments, Veterans’ Homes, disabled veterans, and law enforcement to give support, comfort, and encouragement. I knew the minute I read Amanda’s story that the mission of Golden Rule Retrievers fit perfectly with our mission here at The Heart of Hospice.
Sunny is considered a service dog in training, and he’ll be working to provide comfort and companionship to hospice patients, caregivers, and hospice teams. We’ll keep you updated on Sunny’s activities as he grows and learns his new job. He’s a wonderful addition to The Heart of Hospice. You’re going to love him!
