Tomorrow is Memorial Day here in the U.S. Celebrated on the last Monday of May, it’s a national holiday that originated in 1868. It’s a day for remembering those who died in military service for America.
It’s day for honoring the men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for freedom and country.

For many across the U.S., it’s also a day off from work. There are parades and family gatherings. Time in the sun and relaxing are often on the schedule. I hope tomorrow finds you doing just that – relaxing.
I hope you also find some time to recognize that we’re able to enjoy the day and all the activities it contains because there were heroes who dedicated their lives for our country.
If a gratitude list is part of your Self Care regimen, make a list of the freedoms we enjoy today because of the sacrifices of fallen American soldiers.
Wishing you a Happy Memorial Day from The Heart of Hospice, with gratitude.
