Being involved with professional organizations can be a great benefit to those who work in hospice and palliative care. The National Council of Hospice and Palliative Professionals (NCHPP) has sections related to each of the disciplines who work on the interdisciplinary team, including nursing assistants, pharmacists, and volunteer managers along with the core disciplines of the IDT.
The NCHPP also has features for agency staff involved in finance and marketing, education, research, and operations. No matter where you work, there’s information there to enhance your practice and increase your knowledge base. NCHPP also features section chats via Zoom.
